It is our strong belief that successful therapy should always help individuals participate more fully and confidently in their life, at home, school, work, and in their communities. This may mean learning to say “pepperoni,” to request a favorite pizza topping at a restaurant, or improving social skills in order to make a friend, or just the simple act of responding to the sound of your name. We believe ongoing collaboration with clients, parents and caregivers is the best indicator of client success. We offer pediatric services for Speech, and Occupational Therapy. Hi! My name is Debbie Brooks, but my little friends call me “Ms. Debbie!” I am a graduate of Southern Connecticut State University, and have been a speech language pathologist for over 8 years. I have provided services in Public schools, private practice, homes and daycare centers via in-person and virtual models.
I am certified in the States of Ohio, California and Virginia, and with the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) and the Hanen Centre, as a provider for the It Takes Two to Talk program.
As a military spouse, I have had the opportunity to work in several different states, with clients from diverse cultural and language backgrounds, presenting with a variety of speech and language needs.
